I’m Molly Stone, a London based independent artist. I like to write songs that feel relevant to my life and come from my own experiences with a cheeky and sometimes sarcastic undertone (it’s more fun that way!).

After dropping hundreds of covers (yes hundreds), I’m finally starting to release my own originals! I’ve independently written and also been lucky enough to collaborate with some amazingly talented producers and writers to create music that I’m really proud of! “We built the song around this idea that women are always underestimated,” says Molly. “But actually, we’re much more capable and even scary if we want to be.
From busking on busy streets to drawing inspiration from the city’s quirky, anything-goes energy, London helped her embrace individuality both in music and style.
Her songwriting blends honesty, humour, and a touch of defiance, often exploring themes of girlhood, empowerment, and the messy beauty of self-expression. Whether she’s channeling nerves before a show, capturing friendship dynamics in Bad Friend, or experimenting with sound on Haters, her work feels refreshingly real.
